URGENT UPDATE: The highly anticipated horror film, The Conjuring: Last Rites, will be available for digital purchase and rent starting October 7, 2025, at 12 a.m. Eastern Time (9 p.m. Pacific Time the night before). Directed by Michael Chaves, this fourth installment in the franchise promises to thrill fans as it marks the ninth—and reportedly final—entry in the beloved series.

The film stars Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga as renowned paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren. This time, they are set to confront one last supernatural case that aims to “end it all.” The film also features Mia Tomlinson as Judy Warren, the Warrens’ daughter, and Ben Hardy as her boyfriend, Tony Spera.

This latest installment has already made waves at the box office, raking in over $458 million globally, making it the highest-grossing film in the franchise to date. With the premium digital release, Warner Bros. aims to capitalize further on its success.

For those eager to watch from home, The Conjuring: Last Rites will be available on major platforms including Amazon Prime, Apple TV, and Fandango At Home. The film can be purchased for $24.99 or rented for $19.99. Renting allows viewers 48 hours to enjoy the film after hitting “play.”

In addition to the digital release, the film is set to hit shelves on November 25, 2025, in 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD formats. Both the digital and physical editions will feature exclusive content, including behind-the-scenes featurettes like “Last Rites: An Era Ends” and “The Conjuring: Crafting Scares.”

Fans of the franchise will also be pleased to know that a four-film collection featuring all four Conjuring films, as well as a comprehensive nine-film collection of the entire Conjuring universe, will be available digitally on October 7. The four-film collection will also see a physical release on November 25.

While The Conjuring: Last Rites is not yet available on any subscription-based services, it is expected to stream on HBO Max in the near future. Given the film’s ties to Warner Bros., speculation suggests it could be available for streaming as early as late November 2025. This aligns with the release pattern of similar titles, suggesting a potential for a quicker rollout to capture the spooky season audience.

If you’re considering subscribing to HBO Max, plans start at $9.99/month with ads or $16.99/month for an ad-free experience. For those who subscribe via Prime Video, a seven-day free trial is available, offering an opportunity to catch the latest horror hit without charge.
