A unique concert experience is set to take place at an elevation of 11,212 feet on February 15, 2026. The popular electronic duo, The Chainsmokers, will perform a surprise, free concert on Aspen Mountain, marking a significant moment for the region’s music scene. This large-scale event, titled “High Tops – The Chainsmokers: Top of Aspen Mountain,” is a collaboration between Aspen One and Belly Up Aspen.
The concert will kick off at 11 a.m., with general admission tickets made available starting at noon on a recent Friday. These tickets were in high demand, selling out in less than an hour. For those looking for a more exclusive experience, paid options for private cabins and reserved tables are also available.
“This is the first time Aspen has hosted a major, globally recognized music act in a purpose-built concert setting at the very top of Aspen Mountain,” said a spokesperson from Aspen One. They noted that the swift sell-out of general admission tickets reflects the excitement surrounding this unprecedented event.
The concert venue, accessible via gondola, requires attendees to have a valid ski or foot passenger pass. With a capacity capped at approximately 2,000 registered guests, including general admission and invited guests, the organizers have emphasized that this limit is in place for logistical, safety, and experience considerations.
“This event reflects Aspen One’s continued evolution of the on-mountain and après experience through culture, music, and creative partnerships,” the spokesperson added. The collaboration with Belly Up Aspen aims to translate the area’s intimate, high-quality live music essence into a new alpine format. The Chainsmokers are expected to elevate this atmosphere with their modern energy and global appeal.
In addition to the mountaintop concert, The Chainsmokers will perform at ticketed shows at Belly Up Aspen on the evenings of February 14 and 15, further engaging with fans during their time in Aspen.
As this concert approaches, anticipation continues to build, promising a memorable experience for attendees and a new chapter in Aspen’s musical history. The event underscores the region’s commitment to innovative experiences that blend culture and nature, solidifying its status as a premier destination for music lovers.
