A new Taco Bell is set to open in the Village of Coal Grove, Ohio, near the U.S. 52 exit. The announcement was made by Mayor Andy Holmes, who confirmed that the land has been sold by the Lawrence County Economic Development Corporation to a company based in Tennessee. The location, situated at 201 Marion Pike, is the site of the former Jim Allen gas station and is directly across from the Speedway convenience store.

Mayor Holmes expressed enthusiasm for the addition of new businesses in the village, noting that while the local government does not control what businesses occupy private properties, the community welcomes this development. He emphasized that the arrival of Taco Bell is a positive move for Coal Grove’s growth.

Although there is currently no announced timeline for construction, the permit process for the new establishment is underway. The Mayor indicated that further development efforts are being made in the area, with plans to attract additional businesses to the lot located between the upcoming Taco Bell and a nearby car wash.

The introduction of Taco Bell is anticipated to enhance the local economy and provide residents with more dining options. The community of Coal Grove looks forward to the potential job creation and increased activity that this new restaurant will bring. As plans progress, updates on the construction schedule and additional developments in the area will be closely monitored.
