Shannon Peduto, the executive director of the Luzerne County Child Advocacy Center, addressed members of the Swoyersville Kiwanis at their recent meeting, highlighting the center’s critical role in supporting children affected by various forms of abuse. The Luzerne County Child Advocacy Center, established in 2014, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting victims of physical abuse, sexual abuse, neglect, drug endangerment, human trafficking, and other crimes throughout Luzerne County.
