STACK Infrastructure has successfully raised over $1.3 million during its annual Heroes of the Sea Charitable Fundraiser and Salmon Fishing Derby held in Astoria, Oregon. This significant amount will directly benefit active-duty, reservist, and retired Chief Warrant Officers of the U.S. Coast Guard, thanks to partnerships with the Coast Guard Foundation and the Pacific Northwest Chief Warrant Officers Association (CWOA).

With this year’s contributions, the event has raised a total of more than $3.4 million since its inception, supporting the U.S. Coast Guard community. “We are deeply honored by the unwavering support from across the data center industry and the collective commitment to the U.S. Coast Guard,” said Ty Miller, Chief Commercial Officer at STACK Americas. He emphasized that the event served as a powerful reminder of the impact achievable through community collaboration.

STACK Infrastructure’s dedication to the U.S. Coast Guard was further recognized in June 2025 when it received the Coast Guard Foundation’s Guardian Award. This accolade highlights the company’s longstanding support for U.S. Coast Guard service members. At this year’s event, clients, partners, and supporters joined forces to create a meaningful impact, emphasizing the crucial role the U.S. Coast Guard plays in protecting maritime commerce, port infrastructure, the environment, and subsea cable networks.

While the service provided by the U.S. Coast Guard is constant, the needs of its members can often go unnoticed, particularly in challenging times. The funds raised through the Heroes of the Sea initiative are essential in ensuring that these needs are met with urgency and care.

Establishing Long-Term Support

In 2023, the Heroes of the Sea Foundation Endowment Fund was established, now managed by the Coast Guard Foundation. This endowment represents a long-term commitment to supporting U.S. Coast Guard service members through charitable distributions. The fund is designed to ensure the continuation of vital programs such as emergency relief, educational support, and wellness initiatives for years to come.

“The Heroes of the Sea endowment has become more than a vision; it is now part of a lasting legacy,” said Susan Ludwig, President of the Coast Guard Foundation. This ongoing support from the community contributes to the sustainability and upliftment of the Coast Guard community.

Gratitude for Community Support

STACK Infrastructure expresses its sincere thanks to the Coast Guard Foundation, the CWOA, and all sponsors, participants, and volunteers whose contributions made this year’s event possible. Their dedication plays a crucial role in driving the mission of Heroes of the Sea and ensuring meaningful, lasting support for the U.S. Coast Guard community.
