While the closure of Umadori Sokuho has not been officially commented on by Square Enix, the blog functioned similarly to Netoge Sokuho, focusing on fan-generated news and discussions related to Final Fantasy 14. The forum-like nature of Umadori Sokuho, which allowed for user comments, may have raised concerns among developers regarding the types of discussions occurring on the platform.
