URGENT UPDATE: Solano County Transit (SolTrans) has just announced significant changes to its holiday service schedules for Christmas and New Year’s, urging riders to plan ahead. Effective immediately, SolTrans will NOT operate its Local, Solano Express, and Paratransit services on the following holidays: Christmas Day – Thursday, December 25 and New Year’s Day – Thursday, January 1.

In addition, services will follow a Saturday schedule on two key dates, meaning local school tripper routes 15, 17, 38, and the Solano Express Green Line and Route 82 will not run on Christmas Eve – Wednesday, December 24 and New Year’s Eve – Wednesday, December 31. Riders must adjust their travel plans accordingly.

Following the holiday season, on Sunday, January 4, SolTrans will implement minor schedule adjustments to select Local and Solano Express routes. Notably, onboard paper transfers will be discontinued, and passengers are encouraged to use Clipper for all transfer discounts.

In a heartfelt message, Beth Kranda, Executive Director of SolTrans, expressed gratitude to the community: “As we wrap up another year of service, I want to sincerely thank our riders for choosing SolTrans and for being such an important part of our community. We are deeply grateful for your patience, feedback, and continued trust as we complete our Comprehensive Operational Analysis (COA).”

This rider-driven effort aims to enhance reliability, efficiency, and accessibility across the transit system, making it crucial for users to stay informed about these changes.
