Six students were awarded scholarships during a special luncheon hosted by the Olivet Boys & Girls Club on August 13, 2023, in Reading, Pennsylvania. Each recipient received $7,500 to support their higher education pursuits. The event took place at the Oakbrook club and recognized the achievements of recent alumni from the organization.

– **Zahavah Oliveras**, a 2025 graduate of Reading High School set to enroll at Cedar Crest College.
– **Jennasea Rodriguez**, a 2023 graduate of Wyomissing High School currently attending Reading Area Community College.
– **Jeremiah Santiago**, a 2024 graduate of Reading High School who will attend Penn State Berks.
– **Kahlil Samuels**, a 2025 graduate of Reading High School bound for Virginia Union University.
– **Nico Sosa**, a 2024 graduate of Reading High School planning to study at Sussex Community College.

The scholarships were made possible through generous donations from community members including Sue Palmer, Art Haberberger, Tom McMahon, and Bernice Lebo. Their contributions highlight the importance of community support in helping students achieve their educational goals.
