Authorities and community members have intensified their search for Camila Mendoza Olmos, a 19-year-old woman who was last seen on December 24, 2023. Security footage captured her leaving her home in Northwest Bexar County shortly before 07:00. Family and friends are appealing for assistance, with the Youth Peace and Justice Foundation offering a reward of $1,000 for information that could lead to her safe return.

On the fourth day of the search, a gathering took place at Wildhorse HOA Sports Park at 07:30, where volunteers coordinated their efforts to cover various areas. “Cami needs us. By the grace of Jesus Christ, we will find you, Cami,” stated Nancy Olmos, Camila’s aunt, in a heartfelt social media post urging the community to help.

The Youth Peace and Justice Foundation, also known as The Uvalde Foundation for Kids, has mobilized support in the search efforts. A representative emphasized the importance of community involvement, saying, “Our priority is bringing Camila home to her family. We are calling on the Central Texas community to mobilize with us. Whether it is joining the physical search today at Wildhorse HOA Park or sharing her photo throughout San Antonio, Waco, Round Rock, and Temple, every effort counts.”

Authorities have urged anyone with information regarding Camila Mendoza Olmos’ whereabouts to contact the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office at 210-335-6000. The community’s involvement has been crucial, as many continue to distribute flyers and spread the word about her disappearance.

As the search continues, the sense of urgency grows among family and friends who remain determined to uncover any leads that may assist in locating her. The ongoing efforts reflect the collective hope that Camila will soon be reunited with her loved ones.
