Samuel L. Arbuckle, Jr., a beloved figure from Coatesville, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully at home on October 11, 2025, surrounded by his family. He is remembered for his dedication to his loved ones and the impact he made throughout his life.

Survived by his devoted wife, Sandra L. Arbuckle, Sam leaves behind six children: Keith Arbuckle, Darcy Levenite (Art), Ann Arbuckle, Kelly Hawthorne (David Lynch), Samuel Arbuckle, III, and John Arbuckle. His family also includes two stepchildren, David Williamson (Karen) and Lee Ann Johnson (Andrew), along with 14 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren, with another great-grandchild expected soon. He was preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Ann Ensley.

A local Celebration of Life will take place at the home of Sam’s daughter, located at 560 Valley View Drive, New Holland, on October 19, 2025, from 12:00 to 17:00. Family and friends are encouraged to RSVP through the website of Wentz Funeral Home.

The funeral service is scheduled for October 25, 2025, starting at 11:00 at the Community Church of Oak Orchard, located at 32615 Oak Orchard Road, Millsboro, Delaware. Visitation will begin an hour prior, at 10:00. Following the service, Sam will be interred at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, where he will receive military honors, recognizing his service.
