UPDATE: The Red Bluff Rotary Club has officially named Collin Fletcher, a junior at Red Bluff High School, as the Student of the Month. This announcement marks a significant recognition for Fletcher, who was honored for his outstanding academic performance and character.

Fletcher’s commitment to excellence is clear; he aspires to become a forensic pathologist/criminologist and has shown remarkable dedication in his studies, particularly in math and science. In addition to his academic achievements, he has also received the prestigious American award for his contributions.

According to Leandro Vasquez, a math teacher and leadership advisor at Red Bluff High School, “Collin is a phenomenal student who is respectful, hardworking, and supportive of those around him.” She praised his maturity, noting his ability to advocate for himself in a thoughtful manner when he needs assistance.

Fletcher’s positive influence extends beyond academics, as he is recognized as a genuinely kind individual who enriches the classroom environment. Taylor Richardson, another teacher at Red Bluff High, echoed these sentiments, stating, “He is a model student for Red Bluff High School.”

The recognition ceremony will take place on the second Tuesday of each month, with the next event scheduled for November 14, 2023. As part of the recognition, Fletcher will be accompanied by a faculty advisor to the Red Bluff Elks Lodge, where they will be guests of the Rotary Club for lunch. Each honored student, along with their parents and faculty advisor, will receive a framed certificate and a $100 check, further emphasizing the significance of this honor.

This recognition not only highlights Fletcher’s achievements but also serves as an inspiration for other students in the community. The Red Bluff Rotary Club continues to showcase exceptional young talent, reinforcing the importance of academic excellence and character development.
