Rancho La Gloria has pledged a donation of $20,000 to support the Hispanic Heritage Foundation’s (HHF) Leaders on Fast Track (LOFT) program. This initiative aims to empower Latino leaders and was announced during National Hispanic Heritage Month. This marks the company’s inaugural partnership with the HHF, a national nonprofit recognized by the White House, U.S. Congress, and Fortune 500 companies for its contributions to education, workforce development, and cultural advancement since its establishment in 1988.
Joey Perris, Chief Marketing Officer of Rancho La Gloria, expressed pride in this collaboration, stating, “We are proud to partner with the Hispanic Heritage Foundation, an organization that is making a real impact.” He highlighted that supporting the LOFT initiative aligns with the company’s commitment to celebrate heritage while empowering today’s Latino leaders.
The LOFT program serves as a vital resource for over 300,000 students and young professionals, offering mentorship, workshops, and internship opportunities across various tracks, including business, education, sustainability, technology, and public service. Perris emphasized the program’s goal: “Our goal is to shine a light on the community’s history and support its future by providing Latino professionals and students with crucial resources.”
Founded after the Rancho La Gloria Hotel, the company is renowned for creating the original Margarita and pioneering agave wine-based ready-to-drink cocktails. Its product line continues to expand with innovations such as canned cocktails. Perris noted that the donation reflects the company’s deep-seated commitment to community impact, an integral part of Patco Brands’ identity.
“At Patco Brands, we are a family business with an entrepreneurial spirit, and giving back is part of our mission and DNA as a company,” he said. When the company learned about HHF’s extensive programs supporting the Hispanic community, particularly in developing future leaders and entrepreneurs, they recognized a shared mission.
Located in Sausalito, California, Rancho La Gloria’s headquarters is characterized by an open and creative environment that fosters innovation and community initiatives. Perris described it as “not a place full of egos, cubicles, and a stuffy corporate feeling,” but rather “a creative area for everyone to work and collaborate openly.”
This partnership represents a broader commitment from Rancho La Gloria to champion Hispanic heritage and invest in the future of the community that has significantly shaped its identity. The company’s support for the LOFT program is a testament to its dedication to empowering Latino leaders and contributing positively to the community.
