URGENT UPDATE: Providence Swedish is actively seeking former patients and their family members to join the Patient Family Advisory Council (PFAC) and influence healthcare practices at local clinics and hospitals. This recruitment drive is crucial for enhancing patient care and services at Providence Medical Group, Providence St. Peter Hospital, and Providence Centralia Hospital.
As of now, the council aims to recruit new members who can provide invaluable insights into patient experiences. Darin Goss, Chief Executive of Providence Swedish, emphasized, “Our mission is all about serving patients and families. With PFAC members serving on committees, the eyes of the patient are always with us.” This highlights the essential role patients and their families play in shaping healthcare policies and practices.
The PFAC was established in 2011 and meets regularly from noon to 2 p.m. on the first Friday of each month. Currently, meetings are held in person but are also accessible via video conferencing, ensuring that participation is convenient for all members.
Providence Swedish is committed to diversity and welcomes applicants from all backgrounds to ensure a wide range of perspectives. Interested individuals must complete an application, undergo an interview process, and finish the volunteer recruitment steps.
To apply, visit shorturl.at/qtVDM and submit your application to Trish Warnick at [email protected]. For additional information, contact Warnick directly or call 360-791-3486.
