URGENT UPDATE: A tragic motorhome crash in Marion County, Florida, has left a 5-year-old boy dead and 12 others critically injured. The incident occurred around 5:45 a.m. on Saturday, involving a motorhome carrying 15 occupants from Clark County.
Authorities report that the motorhome was traveling south on U.S. 27 when it collided with an SUV heading west on County Road 316. The impact caused the motorhome to overturn, and Tucker, a preschool student at Enon Elementary, tragically lost his life at the scene.
Greenon Local Schools Superintendent Darrin Knapke expressed the community’s sorrow, stating, “The Greenon Local Schools community is heartbroken following a tragic accident involving members of our school family. We mourn the loss of Tucker, who was a beloved student and the son and grandson of our staff members. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family during this incredibly difficult time.”
Medics transported 12 other occupants from the motorhome to local hospitals, all reported with critical injuries. The driver of the SUV also sustained serious injuries and was taken to the hospital.
