The video depicted Papoose and Shields as characters from the film Black Sister’s Revenge, which alluded to a public incident where comedian Gerald Huston mistakenly identified Shields as tennis star Serena Williams. Papoose reportedly confronted Huston, demonstrating his disapproval of the disrespect. In response to the video, 50 Cent mocked the situation, captioning it, “Now you see, that’s assault! You can’t just go around putting your hands on PEOPLE. LOL Happy New Year!”
As the online back-and-forth continued, Papoose retaliated by posting an AI-generated video of 50 Cent dressed in a bra and shorts, further escalating the exchange. 50 Cent then shared a clip of Papoose’s ex-wife, Remy Ma, where she stated, “[My] ex might be the least income-making person that I’ve ever been with. Ever.” This prompted further commentary from Shields, who remarked, “These rappers don’t get they a** beat enough—that’s the problem.”
In a surprising twist, Shields reminded 50 Cent of a past invitation to assist with his nonprofit, to which he acknowledged being a fan of hers.
The latest move in this ongoing rivalry saw Papoose preview a new track on Instagram. In the clip, he declared, “Best ever… the untouchable ‘PAPOOSE’.
