URGENT UPDATE: A tragic shooting in Albany leaves one teen dead and four others injured late Monday night. Albany Police Department officers responded to a distress call at approximately 11:48 p.m. on the 1700 block of West Broad Avenue, where they discovered a 17-year-old male deceased at the scene.

The shooting also injured four juveniles, including another 17-year-old male, a 15-year-old male, and two 16-year-old victims—one male and one female. Emergency responders rushed all four victims to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital for treatment. Among them, two were later transferred to a medical facility in Macon, Georgia, where they underwent surgery, one suffering from severe internal injuries.
