Nate Olson has been promoted to Vice President of Sales Strategy and Business Development at Mid Minnesota Federal Credit Union (MMFCU), overseeing operations at all 12 of its offices. This elevation in rank recognizes Olson’s extensive experience and commitment to both the credit union and its membership.

In his new role, Olson aims to drive membership growth and provide essential support to staff, ensuring they feel confident in meeting members’ needs. His career with MMFCU spans 22 years, during which he has held various positions that have significantly influenced member experiences and staff development.

Career and Community Engagement

Olson’s journey at MMFCU began with his role as the Brainerd Branch Manager, where he successfully hired and coached numerous staff members, guiding them into fulfilling careers. Most recently, he served as Regional Manager, where he further developed strategies for member engagement and staff support.

His commitment to the credit union extends beyond the workplace. Olson actively contributes to the communities served by MMFCU through various initiatives. He officiates high school football and basketball games, coaches youth football and baseball, and serves on the Brainerd Sports Boosters Board.

By taking on the role of Vice President, Olson is poised to enhance MMFCU’s mission of improving financial well-being for its members while continuing to champion community involvement. His promotion highlights the credit union’s dedication to leadership that embodies its core values, ensuring a bright future for both employees and members alike.
