UPDATE: Millburn High School’s football team delivered an electrifying performance, defeating Barringer 34-18 in a tense matchup on September 5, 2023. This victory marks Millburn’s second win of the season, bringing their record to 2-0 for the first time since 2019.

In a standout display, senior PJ Sicoli sprinted for 133 yards on 21 carries, scoring three critical touchdowns in the second half. Sicoli’s relentless effort included rushing touchdowns of 3 yards and 1 yard in the third quarter, followed by a decisive 14-yard run in the fourth, sealing the game for Millburn.

Meanwhile, senior Zach Orenstein contributed significantly with two first-half rushing touchdowns from 6 yards and 3 yards, helping Millburn take a narrow 13-12 lead into halftime. Orenstein has now tallied an impressive seven touchdowns in just two games this season.

On the defensive front, Yousef Ali showcased his skills by recovering a fumble, while teammate Matthew Vegman recorded a key sack, further solidifying Millburn’s defensive efforts against Barringer.
