The East Mississippi Community College (EMCC) celebrated its Homecoming on October 11, 2025, honoring outstanding students from its Scooba and Golden Triangle campuses. The event took place on Sullivan-Windham Field, where the titles of Mr. and Miss EMCC were awarded to notable students for their contributions to campus life.
Recognizing Student Leadership and Achievement
Trinton Nash, a resident of Meridian, was named Mr. EMCC for the Scooba campus. Nash is pursuing a degree in Music Education, with a focus on both vocal and instrumental studies. His selection reflects not only his academic dedication but also his involvement in the campus community.
Alongside him, Kyleigh Moore from Philadelphia was crowned Miss EMCC for the Scooba campus. Moore is majoring in social sciences and has actively participated in various campus activities that promote student engagement and community service.
From the Golden Triangle campus, Matthew Davis, a sophomore from Crawford studying Precision Machining, received the title of Mr. EMCC. He is recognized for his leadership qualities and commitment to his studies. Shakyrah Mullen, a Columbus resident majoring in Secondary Education, was honored as Miss EMCC for the Golden Triangle campus, showcasing her dedication to future educators.
