Upon arrival around midnight, police discovered Armando Madrigal Barajas Jr., 36, in the driver’s seat and his wife, Denise Alessan Madrigal Martinez, also 36, in the front passenger seat, both suffering from apparent gunshot wounds to the head. Denise was pronounced dead at the scene, while Armando was transported to a local hospital, where he was found to have sustained a nonsurvivable injury.
