The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) has finalized television agreements with SportsNet New York (SNY) and New England Sports Network (NESN) to broadcast a total of 18 men’s and women’s basketball games during the 2025-26 season. This partnership will prominently feature both Siena College basketball teams, with the women’s team facing Fairfield University on January 19, 2026, and the men’s team hosting Marist College at MVP Arena on January 22, 2026.

SNY, which reaches approximately nine million households across New York, Connecticut, New Jersey, and Northeastern Pennsylvania, will provide crucial exposure for MAAC basketball. The agreement marks a significant milestone for the conference, enhancing its visibility across major media markets in the region.

MAAC Commissioner Travis Tellitocci expressed enthusiasm about the partnerships, stating, “These partnerships give MAAC basketball an unprecedented level of exposure across the biggest media markets in the country. Reaching more than 13 million homes through SNY and NESN ensures that our student-athletes and programs are showcased throughout New York, New Jersey, New England, and beyond.”

The collaboration also aligns with MAAC’s ongoing multi-year agreement with ESPN. Every game televised through SNY and NESN will be simulcast live on ESPN+ and accessible through the ESPN app, guaranteeing nationwide coverage without digital blackouts. This development offers fans more avenues to engage with the teams and the conference as a whole.

SNY is known for its comprehensive sports coverage, offering exclusive content related to various New York teams, including the New York Mets and New York Jets. With its Emmy Award-winning status, SNY has established itself as a leading regional sports content provider, delivering extensive access to both professional and collegiate sports.

This initiative not only underscores the commitment of MAAC to elevate its profile but also enhances the overall fan experience for basketball enthusiasts in the region. By partnering with reputable networks like SNY and NESN, the conference aims to cultivate a larger audience and foster a greater appreciation for college basketball.

As the 2025-26 season approaches, fans can look forward to an exciting lineup of games that will bring Siena’s basketball talent into the homes of millions across the Northeastern United States.
