Louise A. Clark, aged 97, passed away peacefully on September 21, 2025, in Ulster Park, New York. Born on December 23, 1927, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Angelo and Louise Naccarato Altomari. Her life was marked by dedication to family, community, and a long career in the tech industry.

A committed professional, Clark worked at IBM in Poughkeepsie and Kingston until her retirement in 1985. Before joining IBM, she gained experience at Skyline, Sprague Electric, and Hercules. Known for her strong work ethic, she balanced her career with a vibrant family life.

Community Involvement and Personal Life

Clark was an active member of her community, regularly attending Presentation Church in Port Ewen. She also participated in the Town of Esopus Senior Citizens group, where she enjoyed social activities such as bowling, bingo, and playing cards.

She was married to Frederick H. Clark, who predeceased her on May 30, 2005. Together, they raised three children: Shirley Saccoman and her husband, Thomas R., of Southington, Connecticut; Frederick Clark and his wife, Donna, of Rifton, New York; and Dianna Reynolds and her husband, Bruce, of Shokan, New York.

Clark is survived by her loving family, which includes one sister, Carol Van Kleeck, of the Town of Ulster, and one brother, Michael Altomari, of Florida. She leaves behind six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her great-grandson, Pearson Reynolds, as well as four sisters and two brothers.

Funeral Arrangements and Memorial Contributions

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects on September 24, 2025, from 16:00 to 19:00 at the Gilpatric-VanVliet Funeral Home, located at 339 Broadway, Ulster Park, New York. A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for September 25, 2025, at 10:00 at Immaculate Conception Church in Kingston, followed by burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Kingston.
