URGENT UPDATE: Kansas State Parks are gearing up for an exciting season as annual permits and 2026 campsite reservations will be available starting December 1, 2025. This is your chance to secure unforgettable family experiences in the great outdoors!

With the holiday season approaching, now is the perfect moment to plan your next adventure. “Kansas State Parks are where family memories are made,” stated Conner O’Flannagan, director of Kansas State Parks. He emphasized that annual permits and campsite reservations are gifts that keep on giving.

Here’s what to know: Annual Vehicle Permits grant you unlimited access to all Kansas State Parks from January 1 through December 31, 2026, priced at just $25 for both residents and non-residents. Seniors and disabled Kansas residents can purchase permits for only $13.75. If you own a UTV or golf cart, consider the Unconventional Vehicle Permits available only at park offices for $52.50.

Campsite enthusiasts should take note of the annual camping permits, which cover all daily camping fees (utility fees still apply) from January 1 to December 31, 2026. Purchase these early for $202.50 before April 1 or after September 30, or for $252.50 between these dates. A 14-night camping permit is also available for $112.50.
