Jane Lewandowski, aged 59, passed away peacefully at her home in Trapper Creek, Alaska, on January 10, 2026, following a determined fight against cancer. Originally from Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, Jane was known for her warm spirit and commitment to her community.

Born to the late Thomas Mosley and Jane Mosley-Bettica, Jane grew up in Bear Creek, Pennsylvania. She graduated from James M. Coughlin High School in 1984 before pursuing her passion for beauty and style at Empire Beauty School.

Jane was an active member of the River of Life Church in Trapper Creek, where she cherished the connections she made through fellowship and shared activities. She particularly enjoyed participating in church potluck dinners and took the time to send heartfelt cards to fellow congregants for birthdays, holidays, and significant milestones.

She is survived by her husband, Jason Kresge, and their sons, Steven Lewandowski of Avoca, Pennsylvania, and Michael Lewandowski and his wife, Cassidy, from Largo, Florida. Additionally, Jane is remembered by her stepfather, Fred Bettica, of Drums, Pennsylvania; her brother, Thomas Mosley, and his wife, Debra, of Bear Creek; as well as her niece, Abigail Kryeski, and nephews, Parker Mosley and Nicholas Kryeski. She also leaves behind several aunts, uncles, and cousins who will miss her dearly.

A celebration of Jane’s life will take place at a later date, details of which will be announced to the community. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the River of Life Church, PO Box 13406, Trapper Creek, AK 99683, to honor her memory and contributions to the church community.
