The National Sprint Car Hall of Fame and Museum has unveiled a new illuminated marquee sign above its entrance, courtesy of a generous donation from Impact Signs Awnings Wraps. This significant enhancement marks a fresh chapter for the museum, which celebrates the rich history of sprint car racing.
New Sign Reflects Commitment to Racing Community
The new marquee, which spans approximately 60 feet, features vibrant LED illumination that allows for a variety of color choices. This upgrade comes after the museum’s previous signage had been in place for over three decades. Executive Director Bob Baker expressed gratitude towards the founders of Impact Signs, David and Julie Goodson, for their ongoing support of the museum and the sprint car racing community.
“We can’t thank David and Julie Goodson enough for all they do for us here at the museum,” Baker stated. “This new sign adds a fresh look to the museum entrance, which is vital for attracting visitors.” The Goodsons are long-time supporters of both the museum and the sport, and their company has established itself as a trusted signage service provider in Kansas City and across the Central United States.
Impact Signs: A Growing Force in Signage
Impact Signs has expanded its operations with locations in both Columbia and Kansas City, consistently delivering quality signage solutions to local businesses, including notable clients such as the University of Missouri and Casey’s stores throughout the Midwest. The company’s commitment to high standards has contributed to its rapid growth in the region.
The latest donation is part of a broader history of support from the Goodsons to the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame and Museum. In addition to the new marquee, they have previously contributed to the museum through signage and support for various auctions.
