Hilary Gibbs has been appointed as the senior vice president and chief administrative officer at SGMC Health, according to a press release issued by the health system this week. In this newly expanded role, Gibbs will oversee strategic planning across the organization, focusing on clinical operational performance and financial stewardship. She will also continue her leadership of the SGMC Health Foundation and governmental affairs, while taking on responsibilities for clinical ancillary services.

Gibbs holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing and a Master of Education in Leadership from Valdosta State University. She joined SGMC Health in 2021 and brings over 20 years of experience in development and fundraising. Prior to her current position, she served as the associate vice president for development and alumni relations at Valdosta State University, where she significantly advanced philanthropic initiatives.

During her tenure at SGMC Health, Gibbs has played a pivotal role in enhancing community engagement and donor involvement. Her efforts have been vital in driving the Foundation’s mission to support the growth and strategic vision of SGMC Health.
