A vibrant weekend of community engagement is set to unfold in Guam, featuring two significant races aimed at promoting health and supporting local causes. The festivities kick off with the 2025 Triple J Bubble Color Run on Saturday, followed by the 4th Annual Veterans 5K Run and Walk on Sunday.

Triple J Bubble Color Run

The 2025 Triple J Bubble Color Run offers participants a lively 5K and 10K experience filled with colorful bubbles and a celebratory atmosphere. The event will commence at 5:15 a.m., with the race officially starting at 6 a.m. from the Triple J Showroom in Upper Tumon. Registration fees are set at $15 for the 5K, increasing to $20 on race day, while a group of four can register for $50. The 10K registration costs $20, which also rises to $25 on the day of the event.

Proceeds from this year’s run will support vital local programs, benefiting organizations such as Guam Cancer Care, Bake Their Day, and Safe Haven Pregnancy Center. On Sunday, the focus shifts to honoring veterans with the 4th Annual Veterans 5K Run and Walk, organized by I Hinanao, I Magahet, Yan I Ininna, HMI. This event aims to empower veterans to access their earned benefits while fostering a supportive community around them. Participants can gather at the CHamoru Village in Hagåtña, with show time at 4 p.m. and the race starting at 5 p.m.. The first 200 finishers will receive commemorative shirts as a token of appreciation.

Additionally, HMI will host its 3rd Annual Veterans Gala on November 15, taking place from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the Dusit Thani Guam Resort’s Grand Ballroom.
