Gloria Jean Walsh, aged 82, of Wilmington, passed away peacefully on October 5, 2025. She was the beloved wife of the late Merrill Walsh and a cherished mother to her four sons, who carry on her legacy of love and compassion.
Gloria is survived by her sons: Jeffrey Walsh and his wife Catherine of Wilmington, Sean Walsh and his wife Anne of Raymond, New Hampshire, Michael Walsh and his partner Lisa Tavares of Lunenburg, and Kenneth Walsh and his partner Susan Hamel of Lowell. Known affectionately as ‘Nanny’, she was a devoted grandmother to her grandchildren: Jared, Cole, Austin, and Jack Walsh.
Memorial and Legacy
Gloria was predeceased by her siblings and is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, who will remember her kindness and warmth. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at the Nichols Funeral Home, located at 187 Middlesex Ave., Wilmington, during visiting hours on Monday, October 13, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
