During the opening ceremony, Leon Li, Chief Operating Officer of JCtrans, delivered a keynote address emphasizing the growing value of the Middle Eastern logistics market, currently estimated at $27.8 billion. He projected that this figure could reach $39.2 billion within five years, reflecting a compound annual growth rate of 7.1%. Li reaffirmed JCtrans’s commitment to helping global freight forwarding companies achieve sustainable profitability. The conference featured a series of presentations from JCtrans senior executives, including Crystal Zheng, Zuocai Wei, Yorick Zhu, and Alice Zhang. Zheng, Senior Vice President of JCtrans Membership and Event, reported that the platform now serves over 11,000 paid members across 179 countries, with an impressive annual renewal rate of 86%. The use of an AI-powered inquiry system enables the platform to facilitate more than 2.2 million business matches every year.
Wei, Senior Specialist of Cooperation Risk Protection, introduced JCtrans’s upgraded risk management system, which has assisted members in avoiding over 2,200 potential risks in the past year. The system resolved 84% of disputes and recovered approximately $185 million in claims. With features like real-time Risk Alerts and Credit Assurance Orders, JCtrans aims to enhance the safety and reliability of cross-border transactions.
To address payment challenges in the freight forwarding sector, JCtrans launched JC Pay, a settlement solution that offers real-time transactions without fees. Zhu, Vice President of Membership, noted that JC Pay has facilitated over $400 million in annual settlements, leading to significant savings on banking fees for members. Additionally, JCtrans plans to introduce JC Verified, a certification service designed to enhance trust and foster high-quality international collaborations.
The conference also included one-on-one business meetings, which provided participants with direct opportunities to establish initial cooperation agreements, laying the groundwork for future partnerships. The intelligent matching mechanism employed by JCtrans significantly improved the effectiveness of these interactions.
