Bella Voce opens the festival on October 3, 2025, with the oratorio “Lost Objects,” a collaboration between the acclaimed ensemble and Bang on a Can. This innovative piece incorporates choir, electronics, and modern themes, setting a dynamic tone for the festival.

On October 4, 2025, soprano Corinne Costell will perform alongside the Constellation Men’s Ensemble and pianist Shannon McGinnis in a program featuring pieces by members of the Chicago Composers Consortium. This event promises to be a highlight, showcasing local talent and creativity.

The same day, a diverse group of vocalists will take the stage, including soprano Katherine Peterson, mezzo-soprano Quinn Middleman, tenors Karlos Piñero-Mercado and Jordy Vargas, and baritone Chiemerie Obianom. On October 10, 2025, sopranos Laura Strickling, Michelle Areyzaga, and Hayley Fox, along with mezzo-sopranos Naomi Brigell and Grace Ryan, will join the Kaia String Quartet for a concert featuring new works by composers such as Rosśa Crean and Lee Kesselman.

The William Ferris Chorale and Ensemble 20+ will give the Midwest premiere of Christopher Tin’s “The Lost Birds” on October 11, 2025, under the direction of Chris Windle and Michael Lewanski.

On October 12, 2025, soprano Nathalie Colas will perform as a soloist with the Fonema Consort in the program titled “Stare at the Sun.” This event is expected to draw attention for its innovative approach to vocal music.
