The investigation into the tragic death of 15-year-old Celeste Rivas continues as the musician D4vd has ended his lease on a home in Los Angeles. Earlier this month, Rivas’ dismembered body was discovered in the trunk of a Tesla that was registered to D4vd. Although the nature of their relationship remains ambiguous, both individuals reportedly shared matching “Shhh” tattoos on their fingers.
In a recently resurfaced song, D4vd mentions a girl named Celeste, singing, “Oh, Celeste / The girl with my name tattooed on her chest.” Authorities have not named him as a suspect in her death. However, they conducted a search of his rented residence last week, seizing a computer and other unspecified items as part of the ongoing investigation.
Lease Termination Following Investigation
According to an exclusive report from Daily Mail, D4vd’s landlord, Mladen Trifunovic, confirmed that the performer has chosen to break his lease. The lease was signed in February 2023, the same month Rivas went missing in Lake Elsinore. Trifunovic stated, “They are moving out this week… the moving trucks will be here soon. They’ve decided to move out because of the ongoing circumstances.” He added, “This has all been such a big shock. I’m still trying to process everything, and I’m anxiously waiting for the story to conclude itself. It’s very disturbing.”
As the investigation unfolds, D4vd has also canceled a majority of the remaining dates on his “Withered” world tour. The family of Celeste Rivas expressed their heartbreak in a statement shared on GoFundMe, stating, “She was a beloved daughter, sister, cousin, and friend. Her family is heartbroken and devastated by this tragic loss.”
Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding Rivas’ death, which has drawn significant media attention and public concern. The intersection of D4vd’s career and this investigation has raised numerous questions, but as of now, no formal charges have been filed against him. The focus remains on uncovering the truth behind this tragic event and providing answers to Rivas’ grieving family.
