The Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office reported a series of arrests and incidents occurring between December 3 and December 5, 2025. The activities included various crimes ranging from domestic violence to narcotics offenses and multiple traffic accidents across the area.
Recent Arrests
On December 5, authorities arrested Victoria Marling, 35, for prohibited sexual conduct between an educator and a student, as well as obscenity and obstruction of justice. The previous day, Tyonna Herrington, 21, was taken into custody on charges of conspiracy to possess narcotics with intent and conspiracy to introduce contraband into a penal facility.
Earlier, on December 3, Byron Spurs, 48, faced charges of domestic abuse battery, while Tyrell Clark, 34, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia. Clark also had a probation and parole hold and resisted arrest during the incident.
Incident Reports
In addition to the arrests, several incidents were reported throughout the parish. On December 3, authorities responded to complaints regarding vicious animals on Ellard Road in Monterey and a disturbance on Doty Gardens Circle in Ferriday.
Traffic accidents were frequent, with notable incidents occurring on Highway 84 and Highway 900, both resulting in injuries. There were also medical calls reported on Airport Road and Elmwood Drive in Ferriday.
On December 4, reports of extortion involving threats surfaced on Highway 65 near Clayton. A disturbance related to unwanted persons was noted on Texas Avenue in Ferriday. Additionally, several traffic stops and public assistance calls were made throughout the area, including assistance at the Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office in Vidalia.
The following day, December 5, more traffic stops were conducted on Highway 425 near Washington Heights, along with another automobile accident on Highway 84 in Vidalia.
