Concord Hospital Medical Group has welcomed two new internal medicine providers to its team at Concord Hospital Internal Medicine – Laconia. Dr. William Logan and Dr. Ramon Hendrik Guillen bring extensive experience and specialized training to enhance patient care in the Lakes Region.
Dr. William Logan is a board-certified physician in internal medicine, geriatric medicine, and hospice and palliative medicine. He obtained his medical degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine in 1992. Logan completed his residency in surgery at the Mayo Clinic from 1992 to 1995 and then pursued a residency in internal medicine at UNC Hospitals from 1995 to 1998. He furthered his expertise with a fellowship in geriatrics at Duke University from 2004 to 2006. In addition to his medical qualifications, Logan holds an advanced business degree from the University of Tennessee, Haslam School of Business, which he earned in 2020.
In conjunction with Logan, Dr. Ramon Hendrik Guillen joins the team after completing his internal medicine residency at Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, Massachusetts, in 2025. Currently, he serves as a clinical fellow at Harvard Medical School, where he teaches medical students during their clinical rotations. Guillen earned his medical degree from TU Dresden Medical School in Germany and has participated in a visiting student program at University College London. His background in cardiology research, particularly at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, has resulted in multiple peer-reviewed publications in cardiovascular medicine. Fluent in English, German, and Spanish, Guillen’s diverse training and commitment to academic medicine will bolster the hospital’s ability to cater to a varied patient base.
The addition of Logan and Guillen aims to enhance the delivery of compassionate, high-quality primary care in the Lakes Region. Bill Dooley, Chief Administrative Officer and Vice President of Operations at Concord Hospital Medical Group, expressed enthusiasm about the new hires. “Welcoming Dr. Logan and Dr. Guillen expands our ability to provide compassionate, high-quality primary care to the Lakes Region,” Dooley stated. “Their combined expertise in geriatrics, internal medicine, and academic medicine will help us meet the growing needs of our community.”
