A Legacy of Care and Commitment

Born on July 15, 1948, Pat was the cherished daughter of the late Maurice Duane Huber and Jean Anne Fretz. She shared a fulfilling partnership with her husband, Dr. Steve Sisson, for 35 years. Pat’s academic journey began at the University of Rochester, where she completed her undergraduate studies before earning her M.D. from the University of Texas at Galveston. She later completed her residency through the University of Pennsylvania, establishing a career characterized by intelligence, compassion, and a commitment to healthcare.

Beyond her professional achievements, Pat was known for her love of good food and the art of cooking. She often gathered friends and family around her table, creating cherished memories through shared meals. Gardening and floral arranging were among her other passions, with Pat taking classes to deepen her appreciation for nature’s beauty.

As a devoted reader, she frequently immersed herself in books, finding solace and joy in literature. Her gentle heart extended to her beloved pets, particularly her cats, Toby and Russo, who provided companionship and comfort throughout her life.

Family, Faith, and Community

The bond between Pat and her daughter, Dana Sisson, was especially strong; Dana was not only her child but also her best friend.
