Georgiana “Gigi” K Stratton Cruz Jarman, aged 63, passed away on December 19, 2025, surrounded by her family. Her death has left a profound impact on her loved ones, who remember her as a devoted wife, mother, and friend. Gigi is survived by her husband, Nace Jarman, and children, including Christopher Cruz (Alyssa), Alexandra Cruz (Brady), Nace Jarman (Zainab Ayoub), and Emmit Jarman (L’Oreal). She also leaves behind her cherished grandson, Artemis, along with extended family members and friends.
Gigi was a beloved member of her community, known for her intelligence, humor, and sensitivity. Throughout her career as a nurse, which spanned over three decades, she demonstrated a commitment to caring for others. Her passion for service was matched only by her love for family and fun. Gigi enjoyed coffee, quilting, puzzles, and gardening, and she cherished traveling across the country with her husband, Nace.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Virginia Stratton, as well as her siblings, Tommy Stratton and Denise Barnes Casto. Gigi’s legacy will live on through the many lives she touched during her time on earth. Her family and friends will gather to celebrate her life in a memorial service in Newport News, VA, with details to be announced later.
