The community is mourning the loss of Patricia Isajiw, who passed away peacefully on September 16, 2025, at the age of 82. Patricia was a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and devotion.

Born on July 22, 1943, in Gloversville, NY, Patricia grew up in New Jersey and Philadelphia. She dedicated her professional life to healthcare as a hospital administrator. It was during this time that she met her husband, Dr. George Isajiw, with whom she built a family in Upper Darby, PA.

Legacy of Family and Community Service

Patricia raised seven children and was the proud grandmother of fifteen. Her family included sons David Isajiw, Peter Isajiw, Michael Isajiw, Dan Isajiw, and daughters Kelly Caviston and Colleen Melchiorre, as well as several great and great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Beyond her family, Patricia was actively involved in her community. She volunteered at St. Laurence School and offered support to young women facing unplanned pregnancies. Patricia and her husband worked together at their medical practice, making a positive impact on countless lives.

Her family described Patricia as a person full of humor and strength, known for her unconditional love and the joy she brought to those around her. She is survived by her husband, siblings Peggy Gray, Joe Cahill (Margie), and Kathy Razzi (Domenick), along with her children and grandchildren.

Final Arrangements

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on September 26 from 18:00 to 20:00 at The Donohue Funeral Home, located at 8401 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow on September 27 at 12:30 PM at St. Laurence Church, situated at 8245 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Laurence Elementary School, which can be found online at saintlaurence.org. The memory of Patricia Isajiw will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
