Lawrence “Larry” E. Winick Jr., age 71, of Farmington, Missouri, passed away on January 2, 2026. He is remembered for his deep commitment to family, community, and faith. Larry leaves behind his beloved wife, Vicky Winick (née Clark), his mother, Mary Winick (née Arkulari), and siblings, including Mike Winick and Sandra Eaves.

Larry is survived by four children: Scott (Annette), Matt (Amie), Dustin (Jeanna), and Ashley Barber (Clint). He also had a stepdaughter, Stephanie Bauerle (née Danieley, Shaun), and was a proud grandfather to numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, including Steven, Tayler, and Gracie Winick. His family will also miss his nieces, nephews, and many cherished friends.

Growing up in Farmington, Larry graduated from Farmington High School in 1972 before serving in the United States Army as an electrical technician. Upon his return, he pursued a career in construction, where his skills and dedication were widely appreciated.

Larry was well-known for his love of outdoor activities, including hunting and fishing, and he enjoyed spending time with family. His passion for sports extended to playing softball, while his gardening skills brought joy to his home. A devoted member of the Farmington Christian Church, Disciples of Christ, Larry’s faith was central to his life. His deep baritone voice resonated in the church, where he frequently sang gospel music.

Visitation will take place at Cozean Memorial Chapel on January 5, 2026, from 17:00 to 20:00. The following day, visitation will continue at Farmington Christian Church, beginning at 12:00, with the funeral service set for 13:00. Pastor Alan Berry will officiate the service. Afterward, Larry will be laid to rest with military honors at Knights of Pythias Cemetery in Farmington.
