Antonino “Tony” Morici, Sr., a beloved member of the Palmer Township community, passed away on December 10, 2025, at the age of 78. He died peacefully at home, surrounded by his family, leaving behind a legacy of love and culinary excellence.

Born on August 23, 1947, in Santo Stefano di Camastra, Sicily, Tony was the son of the late Francesco and Annunziata (Cerniglia) Morici. He dedicated his life to his family and his passion for cooking, becoming well-known as the proprietor of Morici’s Restaurant on College Hill in Easton. His establishment served as a gathering place for many, where patrons enjoyed his renowned Italian dishes.

Tony was a devout Catholic and an active member of the St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church, as well as The Holy Cross Society. His faith was a cornerstone of his life, guiding him in both personal and professional pursuits. Friends and family recall his generous spirit, particularly in his tradition of making homemade wine to share during family gatherings.

Tony’s family was at the heart of his existence. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Maria (Galati) Morici, and his three sons: Frank Morici and his wife, Meghan, of Nazareth, Pennsylvania; Santo Morici and his wife, Ashley, of Gainesville, Georgia; and Anthony “Nino” Morici, Jr. and his wife, Bobbie, of Palmer Township. He is also survived by his sister, Giovanna Galati, and nine cherished grandchildren: Nino, Sammy, Dominic, Natalie, Santino, Madelyn, Gianna, Luciano, and Colton.

Final Farewell Arrangements

The community is invited to pay their respects during calling hours on December 17, 2025, from 17:00 to 20:00 at Morello Funeral Home, Inc., located at 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, Pennsylvania. An additional calling hour will take place on December 18, 2025, from 08:45 to 09:45 at the same location. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 AM at St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church, situated at 4049 Hartley Avenue, Easton. The burial will be held at St. Anthony’s Cemetery, 520 Cedarville Road, Easton.
