Dorothy Christine “Teenie” Garland, a beloved member of the Lowell community, passed away on September 20, 2025, at the age of 66. Born on March 23, 1959, in Lowell, Massachusetts, she was known affectionately as “Teenie” to friends and family. Her warm spirit and kindness left an indelible mark on all who knew her.
Teenie was the daughter of Frederick J. Gillis Jr. and Elizabeth (Mellen) Gillis. Her family and friends are now coming together to celebrate her life and legacy. A Life Celebration is scheduled for Thursday, September 25, 2025, from 16:00 to 19:00 at the McKenna-Ouellette Funeral Home, located at 327 Hildreth Street in Lowell.
The following day, a Funeral Mass will be held at St. Francis Church in Dracut at 12:30. Following the service, she will be laid to rest at St. Patrick Cemetery in Lowell. Relatives and friends are encouraged to attend these events to honor a life filled with love and compassion.
