Saturdays are equally packed with activities. The Willits Library offers tech help sessions every Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to noon. In the afternoon, from 1:00 to 4:30 p.m., locals can join a spinning and knitting group, both free of charge. Shanachie Pub will also present a Bluegrass String Jam at 3:00 p.m., followed by live music from Flow!, also known as Donnie and Friends, at 8:00 p.m..

Special Events and Workshops

On Sunday, September 7, the Ukiah Community Concert Association is set to host the Horszowski Piano Trio at 2:00 p.m. in the Mendocino College Theatre. Tickets are available for $35 in advance, and $40 at the door. High school students and younger children accompanied by an adult, as well as full-time college students enrolled in 12 or more units, can attend for free.
