UPDATE: Comerica Park is set to revolutionize the fan experience with the launch of its exclusive Priority Club on July 24, 2023, promising an unprecedented dining and entertainment experience for premium ticketholders. This state-of-the-art, 13,000-square-foot member-only space will allow fans to indulge in high-end culinary delights, elevating the way they enjoy baseball.
Located just below the lower-level seating, the Priority Club boasts an all-inclusive atmosphere featuring gourmet food and drinks, complete with premium climate control seating. Members will access the club via a private street entrance, descending into a luxurious haven designed for comfort and enjoyment.
Expect to savor exquisite dishes like Tomahawk steaks, lobster rolls, and Oysters Rockefeller, alongside traditional ballpark favorites like hot dogs and peanuts. A spacious full bar with a striking quartz countertop will serve premium spirits and craft cocktails, including the newly introduced Batting Tiger.
Ryan Gustafson, President and CEO of Ilitch Sports + Entertainment, emphasized the importance of fan feedback in shaping this venture. “We heard a lot from our fans that they wanted an area that was high end,” Gustafson stated during a media preview. “They want to entertain clients, they wanted to entertain employees, they wanted a place where they could go to have food and drink that was in proximity to their seats.”
The Priority Club has been in development for over two years, part of a broader $160 million investment in updates across all Tiger facilities, including renovations to clubhouses and an upgraded scoreboard. This exclusive venue can accommodate 350 premium ticketholders and 52 Loge Box ticketholders, with plans to expand by an additional 120 seats in the future.
Executive Chef Mark Szubeczak is thrilled with the innovative kitchen setup, stating, “Each area is like a kitchen. There are great flavors all throughout … every station has something exciting.” The menu will feature rotating items, ensuring that fans always have something new to look forward to each game.
The all-inclusive experience allows fans to leave their wallets at home, as parking is included in the ticket price.
