On December 25, 2025, Harbor Health Care hosted a festive event called Breakfast with Santa, bringing joy to dozens of children and their families. The occasion took place in the annex of the senior living facility, marking an early celebration of Christmas.
According to Brittany Barnett, the housekeeping and laundry supervisor, the event attracted 52 children from the business. Families enjoyed a delightful pancake breakfast, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all attendees.
Special Gifts and Community Spirit
Each child received a present from Santa Claus, further enhancing the festive spirit of the morning. Additionally, children were able to choose extra gifts from various tables set up throughout the room, creating an exciting experience for the young guests. Carries Stevens, a representative from Harbor Health Care, highlighted the importance of the event, saying, “We want to bring smiles to the children and foster a sense of community.”
Collaboration played a key role in the event’s success. Pebbles McKenzie from the human resources department and Hannah Stewart from administration were instrumental in organizing the festivities. Their efforts ensured that the children enjoyed a memorable morning filled with holiday cheer.
As the event came to a close, Carries Stevens extended warm wishes to everyone present, stating, “We also want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.” This sentiment echoed the spirit of togetherness that the Breakfast with Santa event aimed to promote.
Harbor Health Care continues to foster a sense of community through such events, encouraging connections between families and residents. This Breakfast with Santa not only provided joy to children but also reinforced the facility’s commitment to creating a supportive environment for all.
