Charlie Woods, the son of golf legend Tiger Woods, has marked a significant achievement in his junior golf career by earning a place on the prestigious 2025 Rolex Junior All-America First Team. This accolade recognizes the top young golfers in the United States and mirrors a similar honor his father received over 30 years ago. At just 16 years old, Charlie’s inclusion on this elite list highlights his exceptional performance throughout the year.

Representing Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, Charlie is part of the class of 2027 and currently ranks No. 9 in the Rolex AJGA Rankings. He accumulated a total of 280.291 points from six tournaments, with a standout performance occurring in May at the Team TaylorMade Invitational. There, he secured his first win with impressive scores of 70, 65, and 66, which contributed significantly to his ranking and overall success.

In addition to his victory at the Team TaylorMade Invitational, Woods showcased his talent with a T9 finish at the Boys Junior PGA Championship in July. He also participated in the Junior PLAYERS Championship and the Junior Invitational at Sage Valley, demonstrating his growth and adaptability in various competitive environments.

Standing at approximately 6 feet 1 inch, Charlie has experienced notable physical development over the past year. His high school coach, Toby Harbeck, noted that while Charlie has gained weight due to his rapid growth, he has also made efforts to drop 10 pounds to improve his performance. Harbeck mentioned, “Charlie knows a lot of the attention is going to be on him… He’s come a long way in two years. He’s ready to take on that No. 1 role.”

Charlie attends an elite high school in Palm Beach with an annual tuition of about $37,000. Interestingly, he shares this prestigious institution with Kai Trump, the granddaughter of former President Donald Trump, who is completing her senior year there. Earlier this year, Tiger Woods made headlines for publicly acknowledging his relationship with Vanessa, the former wife of Donald Trump Jr., adding another layer of public interest to the Woods family.

As Charlie continues to rise in the golfing world, his father, Tiger Woods, is navigating a challenging period in his career. The 49-year-old underwent surgery to address an Achilles injury earlier this year and has since faced further complications requiring back surgery. While the father-son duo attracts media attention, Charlie’s achievements signify a promising future in golf, reminiscent of his father’s storied career.
