Thomas E. Grube, a prominent figure in Easton’s automotive industry, passed away on December 25, 2025, at the age of 82. Grube was well-known in the College Hill neighborhood, where he made significant contributions to the local economy through his family business and later as an entrepreneur.

Born on June 25, 1943, Grube began his career in the automotive sector working alongside his father at Grube’s Gulf. He later became the owner and operator of Tom Grube’s Service Center and Grube’s Auto Sales, where he developed a loyal customer base over the decades. His commitment to quality service and community engagement made him a beloved figure among residents.

Community Engagement and Legacy

In addition to his work in the automotive field, Grube was actively involved in outdoor activities. He proudly served as a member of the National Ski Patrol during weekends at Big Boulder, where he contributed to ski safety and enjoyed the sport he loved.

Grube is survived by his wife, Raenelle Grube; son, Jason Grube; brother, Kevin Grube, and his wife, Susan Grube; as well as his nieces, Amy and Tami. His family has expressed their deep sorrow at his passing while celebrating the rich life he led.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 29, 2025, at 12 PM at the College Hill Presbyterian Church, located at 501 Brodhead St., Easton.
