CBRE has named Josh Caruana as the new Market Leader for its Los Angeles North region. In this position, Caruana will oversee operations in the Glendale, Woodland Hills, and Oxnard offices, marking a significant leadership change for the firm in this crucial area of Southern California.

Caruana’s responsibilities will include developing strategic direction and providing daily leadership for various lines of business. This encompasses leasing, sales, valuations, debt and structured finance, and property management across all property types. His focus will be on expanding CBRE’s operations throughout the San Fernando Valley, Tri-Cities, and Ventura County, aiming to enhance the company’s market presence and build on its established foundation.

Caruana’s Background and Experience

Before joining CBRE, Caruana had a successful tenure at Marcus & Millichap, where he demonstrated a strong track record in brokerage and sales management throughout Southern California. His leadership skills were further recognized when he was appointed as the regional manager for the Indianapolis office, where he was instrumental in driving the firm’s expansion in the Midwest. Caruana eventually took on the role of overseeing the Central-Midwest region, managing five markets effectively.

Josh’s experience in brokerage and leadership, combined with a proven track record in talent development and operational strategy, makes him uniquely suited for this role,” stated Lewis Horne, President of Greater Los Angeles, Orange County & Inland Empire at CBRE. Horne emphasized that under Caruana’s leadership, the company aims to enhance its business and create new opportunities for success in the region.

As the commercial real estate landscape continues to evolve, Caruana’s appointment is seen as a strategic move to strengthen CBRE’s position in a competitive market. His leadership style, characterized by building high-performing teams and driving business growth, is expected to resonate well within the organization and with clients.

With Caruana at the helm, CBRE is positioned to leverage its resources effectively and respond to the dynamic demands of the real estate market in Los Angeles North. As he embarks on this new chapter, stakeholders will be watching closely to see how his strategic vision unfolds in the coming months.
