The Neighborhood Health Center of WNY has made a significant expansion by acquiring a former urgent care property at 2497 Delaware Ave. for $1.7 million. This strategic purchase enhances the center’s capacity to provide primary care services to over 32,000 patients in the Buffalo area.
The newly acquired property, previously home to Focus Urgent Care, comprises a two-story building with a total area of 15,000 square feet. This addition nearly doubles the operational space of the center, which has been serving the community from its existing 23,000-square-foot facility located at 300 Niagara St. for more than ten years.
Andrew McKeon, the executive director of the Neighborhood Health Center, emphasized the importance of this acquisition in meeting the growing healthcare needs of the local population. “With this expansion, we are better positioned to serve our patients and improve access to essential health services,” McKeon stated.
