Former Iowa State standout and current New York Jets running back Breece Hall is gearing up for his fourth season in the NFL, now with Justin Fields as his quarterback. Fields recently shared his initial impressions of Hall, highlighting the running back’s impressive skill set.

“When I first got to the Jets, Breece Hall’s hands surprised me,” Fields remarked. “I saw a highlight from the Titans game last year, that touchdown he caught. You can tell which guys have natural hands, and he does. He had a number of catches yesterday from the receiver spot, the slot, and coming out of the backfield to catch the ball. He’s a great weapon to have, and I’m sure we’re gonna utilize him in that way.”

Hall has demonstrated his capabilities as both a rusher and a receiver during his time with the Jets. In the 2024 season, he recorded 876 yards rushing and scored five touchdowns, along with 57 receptions for 483 yards and three additional touchdowns.

Impressive College Career at Iowa State

Before joining the Jets, Hall had an outstanding collegiate career at Iowa State. In his senior season, he totaled 1,464 yards on the ground and found the end zone 20 times. Additionally, he caught 36 passes for 302 yards and three touchdowns, showcasing his versatility as an offensive threat.

With Fields’ endorsement and a solid track record, Hall is well-positioned for a successful season as he enters the final year of his rookie contract. As the Jets aim to enhance their offensive strategy, Hall’s role is expected to expand, giving the team a dynamic weapon that could significantly impact their performance on the field.

The Jets look forward to leveraging Hall’s skills in various formations, capitalizing on his ability to create mismatches against opposing defenses. As the season progresses, fans will undoubtedly watch closely to see how this partnership unfolds, with both Hall and Fields aiming to elevate the Jets to new heights.
