Minnie Mae Coolbaugh Miller, a cherished member of the Dallas, Pennsylvania community, passed away on September 28, 2025, at the age of 100. Her death marks the end of a century filled with love, family, and a passion for the outdoors. Born on May 28, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Emma Synder Coolbaugh.

Raised in a farming household, Minnie developed an array of skills that included sewing, baking, cooking, and canning. Her homemade bread, renowned in the neighborhood, often drew the attention of local children. Minnie graduated from Kingston Township High School, where she excelled in several sports, showcasing her competitive spirit early on.

An avid hunter, Minnie spent countless hours in the woods, where she found solace and joy. Her home was adorned with trophies that celebrated her hunting successes. Every morning, she engaged her mind with a crossword puzzle, while evenings were often spent watching game shows like Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune, where she consistently demonstrated her puzzle-solving prowess.

Family gatherings were a cornerstone of Minnie’s life. She organized picnics and holiday celebrations, often filling her home with laughter and card games, which she usually won. For decades, she prepared Thanksgiving dinners for more than twenty family members, turning what could have been a daunting task into a cherished tradition that united her loved ones year after year.

Minnie was an active member of her community, attending Grace Community Church and previously serving at East Dallas Methodist Church as the Superintendent of Sunday Schools. Her faith and commitment to serving others left a lasting impact on those around her.

Her extensive family includes her children: Charles (Michelle) Miller of Sinking Spring, PA; Kenneth (Nancy) Miller of Wyoming, PA; Robert Miller of Dallas, PA; Constance (Jeffery) Fleming of Catawissa, PA; Barbara (David) Buck of Danville, PA; and Thomas (Miriam) Miller of Blue Bell, PA. Minnie is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, her brother William Coolbaugh, and sister-in-law Iva Coolbaugh.

Minnie was preceded in death by her husband, Elias Miller, as well as several siblings and a great-grandson, Elias David “Eli” Buck. Her legacy of love and family will be remembered fondly by all who knew her.

Funeral services are scheduled for October 3, 2025, at 12:00 PM at the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc. located at the corner of routes 29 and 118 in Pikes Creek. Pastor Dan Budgick of Grace Community Church will officiate the service. Visitation will take place from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the funeral home prior to the ceremony. Following the service, Minnie will be laid to rest at Idetown Cemetery in Lehman Township.
