UPDATE: Anna Mae Bergan-Davis, a cherished matriarch and friend, has passed away on November 13, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. This news comes as a deep loss to her community in Cresco, where she touched many lives.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at Notre Dame Catholic Church in Cresco. Family and friends can pay their respects during visitation from 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at Schmelzer Funeral Home, formerly known as Lindstrom Funeral Home. An additional hour of visitation will be held at the church prior to the funeral service.
Following the service, burial will take place at Orleans Cemetery in rural Ridgeway. The community is urged to come together in remembrance of Anna Mae, celebrating her life and legacy.
