A significant milestone is set to unfold as Austin Screen Printing and Embroidery celebrates its 50th anniversary with the inauguration of a new 30,000-square-foot production facility. Located at 8613 Cross Park Dr, the custom apparel shop will host an open house on December 10, 2025, welcoming the community from 10:00 to 14:00 for a day filled with guided tours, local food, and entertainment.
The open house will feature complimentary treats from Goodies Cookies, beverages from Pinthouse, and opportunities to win items such as tumblers and stadium cups. Attendees will also get the chance to print their own shirts and gain insight into the advanced machinery that has helped shape the identity of Austin through apparel.
Founded in 1975, Austin Screen Printing began as a modest operation with a single manual press. Over the years, it has evolved into a key player in the local market, serving a diverse clientele that includes schools, nonprofits, tech companies, breweries, and major festivals. Notable clients include Austin City Limits, PBS, and Wheatsville, among many others.
The motivation behind the new facility is largely practical, as noted by Brian Feldman, president of Austin Screen Printing. The previous setup required the company to operate across six buildings and work up to 18 hours a day to manage demand. The new, consolidated space allows for streamlined operations under one roof, significantly improving efficiency.
“In a city as dynamic and fast-paced as Austin, where trends shift rapidly, standing the test of time for half a century means everything to us,” Feldman stated. “Our longevity reflects our adaptability and our commitment to quality, reliability, and personalized customer service, values that have been our foundation since 1975.”
The company has navigated various economic cycles over the decades, and Feldman attributes its success to a loyal customer base and a dedicated workforce. He emphasized that the employees have cultivated a family-like atmosphere that contributes to the company’s strong community ties.
The new facility is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, which Feldman believes will enhance quality, capacity, and efficiency. “We are excited about the possibilities this new space brings. It will enable us to continue serving Central Texas for the next 50 years,” he added.
As Austin Screen Printing and Embroidery embarks on this new chapter, it aims to maintain its legacy while embracing modern advancements in the printing industry. The open house is not only a celebration of the past but also a glimpse into the future of a company that has become synonymous with Austin’s vibrant culture.
